Gridforce Car Park Works
Our project brief:
A Staddon Groundworks was the successful contractor instructed to install a Gridforce Car Park on behalf of Wates Construction for the Royal Mail.
We completed the works as follows:
The Gridforce system is designed to control the dispersion of gravel, thus keeping the area neat and tidy, reducing maintenance costs, allowing effective surface water drainage and also making it a more attractive and cost effective alternative to Tarmac.
Gridforce is a great product, manufactured from Low Density Polyethylene (LDPE), so it doesn’t become brittle in low temperatures and comes with a ten year product guarantee.
Not only that but it is passed for use by the regulations set out in Part M of the disability regulations for surfaces.
The outcome:
Within the project we laid coloured chippings filling specific sections of the grid, allowing us to identify areas such as pedestrian walkways as the client required
