Groundworks and formwork for waste transfer station
Our project brief:
A Staddon Groundworks was appointed as groundworks, drainage and formworks subcontractor for DXI Regeneration Ltd, to assist with development of a new waste transfer station in Ivybridge, Devon.
The site was restrictive in terms of access and adjacent and operational vehicle depot so careful planning of activities and deliveries was a must.
We completed the works as follows:
- Installed site drainage, interceptors
- impermeable paving bounded by channel drainage
- Leachate tank preparation and installation
- Formwork and creation of in-situ cast concrete walls
The outcome:
We maintained regular liaison with DXI Regeneration as main contractor, with strict adherence to site rules, especially as works conducted through COVID19 pandemic.
Our site works were completed on budget, on time and to DXI’s satisfaction.
